FEEDING WEANING PUPS
Puppies start to nibble on solid foods at 3-4 weeks of age. Keep moistened Purina Puppy Chow Large Breed Formula (three parts kibble to one part water) available to puppies at all times until fully weaned (6-8 weeks of age).
FEEDING GROWING PUPS
After weaning, Purina Puppy Chow Large Breed Formula can be fed moistened or dry at the same time every day - very young puppies three times a day, older puppies twice a day. Use the feeding guidelines shown here, but remember individual needs can vary. Feed to maintain ideal body condition as shown. Slight appetite changes and occasional digestive upsets are normal in puppies. If upsets become severe or linger longer than a day or two, contact your veterinarian.
SWITCHING TO PURINA PUPPY CHOW LARGE BREED FORMULA
When switching to Purina Puppy Chow Large Breed Formula from another food, please allow 7-10 days for the transition. Gradually add more Purina Puppy Chow Large Breed Formula and less of the previous food to your pet's dish each day until the changeover is complete. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets.
Provide adequate fresh water in a clean container daily. For your pet’s health, see your veterinarian regularly.
RECOMMENDED DAILY FEEDING AMOUNTS

I had a German Shepard that could only eat a certain food. I tried everything for his food problem. No matter what I did his digestion was bad. Vets said try this and try that food. Even though he as an adult dog I had other younger dog so I gave him puppy chow. Well that worked. My German Shepard lived to be 16 and I feel that it was because of puppy chow.
My Malamute loved this food. It was what the breeder started her on and she wanted nothing else. She grew into a happy healthy dog because of this formula.
I started buying this 4-5 months ago for our German Shepherd. He has a very sensitive stomach and this food works well for him. He is 6 1/2 months old and was 70 lbs. last week! I just wish I could find it at more stores. Meijer is the only store I can find it in my area. Kroger and Walmart do not carry it. Very affordable.
My Dogue de Bordeaux, Diesel, came from the breeder with Purina One Large Breed Puppy Chow. He's 2 years old now but I always keep it on hand and put a scoop or two in his Adult Dog Chow for the benefits that will continue to help his large breed bones and joints. I also add a scoop now and then when my aging Plott Hound, Izzy Bug, feeling her joints bones & joints will benefit too. Plus I need to keep her weight maintained & it does the job. My vet had recommended it for her weight issue when I rescued her.
We have a 9 month old Great Pyrenees puppy and he absolutely loves Purina Puppy Chow. I have purchased the large breed puppy chow in the past for my GSD. Both of our boys not only love the food, but have received great checkups at the vet's office. Nothing but Purina for our boys!
