FEEDING WEANING PUPS
Puppies start to nibble on solid foods at 3-4 weeks of age. Keep moistened Purina Puppy Chow Large Breed Formula (three parts kibble to one part water) available to puppies at all times until fully weaned (6-8 weeks of age).
FEEDING GROWING PUPS
After weaning, Purina Puppy Chow Large Breed Formula can be fed moistened or dry at the same time every day - very young puppies three times a day, older puppies twice a day. Use the feeding guidelines shown here, but remember individual needs can vary. Feed to maintain ideal body condition as shown. Slight appetite changes and occasional digestive upsets are normal in puppies. If upsets become severe or linger longer than a day or two, contact your veterinarian.
SWITCHING TO PURINA PUPPY CHOW LARGE BREED FORMULA
When switching to Purina Puppy Chow Large Breed Formula from another food, please allow 7-10 days for the transition. Gradually add more Purina Puppy Chow Large Breed Formula and less of the previous food to your pet's dish each day until the changeover is complete. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets.
Provide adequate fresh water in a clean container daily. For your pet’s health, see your veterinarian regularly.
RECOMMENDED DAILY FEEDING AMOUNTS
Using a standard 8 oz measuring cup.
Overfeeding can be harmful, especially for large breed puppies (those weighing over 50 lbs at maturity). That's why it is crucial that you follow the feeding guidelines shown, check your puppy's weight regularly, and adjust his food intake as necessary to maintain an ideal body condition.

I have always started my dogs off with Purina Puppy Chow and this formula stands up to the task. Over the last 50 years it's been the staple of my families dog/puppy food and this new little girl is no exception. She loves the flavor and texture, if she could shed eat the whole bag in one setting.
We rescued 2 shepard mix puppies and the shelter had been feeding them puppy chow. They are 6 months old now and growing everyday. No problems and they love the food.
I always used Alpo, becouse when you go to the store Alpo is a big house hold name,so I thought I was given my dogs the best, well I had to go outta town, and my daughter uses Purina, and told me my dogs ate all her dogs food, and would not touch the Alpo anymore, well when I got home,I even tried putting bacon grease on it,she ate a little,so I thought ,well let me run to the store and get some Purina,I got a medium sized bag, came home opened it,put it in her bowl, and she went to town....
So miss Bella, will be eat Purina ♥♥♥♥♥...........Thank you very much a new user's?!?¿!¡!
My Golden Retriever loves this food. He has been on this diet for 5 1/2 months and is very healthy - strong bones, thick coat, and very active. Briefly tried the other "premium" brands but came back to Purina as the only premium brand for our puppy since he was not fond of it and it didn't seem to give him the same energy. The value cannot be beat, and Purina has been formulating puppy chow for years. We also prefer Purina since this is the pet chow that is used by the Westminster Kennel Club. We also feed Purina to our 2 older dogs and will continue feeding Purina to our Golden Retriever
I have never been without a dog for 65 years or more. All they have ever been fed was Purina dog chow.
Currently I have a 1 year old Rottweiler and he and for the past 7 months all he has been fed is Large breed puppy chow and puppy chow.
When we got him he was 6 months old and weighed in at 60 pounds. 7 Months later he weighs 110 pound and is a beautiful dog and companion.
Thank you Purina for everything you do to make our pets strong, healthy and beautiful
Have been using nothing but Purina Puppy Chow for 14 generations of labs, most living to be 13-16 years old!. This newer Purina Puppy Chow for Large Breeds is wonderful!
I've tried several brands of puppy food from many different price ranges . My girls love this puppy chow , they are both looking great , active , healthy and have normal stool !
They devour it as soon as it hits the bowls, so it taste great to them too. Not usually the situation.
