SWITCHING TO PURINA DOG CHOW HEALTHY WEIGHT

Gradually add more Purina Dog Chow Healthy Weight and less of the previous food to your pet’s dish each day until the changeover is complete. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets.
Follow some of these simple guidelines, and you can have success too.
* ALWAYS measure your dog's food servings based on the chart shown.
* Split your dog's daily allotment into several small meals per day.
* If you feed treats, give your dog only one or two snacks/day that are low in fat.
* Exercise moderately. It can be fun! Check with your veterinarian for guidelines.
* Record your dog's weight each week to monitor your dog’s progress. Slow, steady weight loss is ideal. You can do it, and it's worth it for the health of your dog!

I have two recuse dogs Bear(4) & Yankee(2). I have Bear since a pup and Yankee a little over a year ago. They get 6 month check ups, the last two months they have gotten over weight. I've tried other dog foods but there was always some side effect. Not with Purina Light & Healthy. I've been using it the last few months, their weight has gone down and they feel fine.
We started out using Fit & Trim, it changed to Healthy Weight and "George" has thrived on them, I can not say enough for both, he seems to have more vitality, and at times even younger acting, thanks for keeping him young and active.
We had to change our dog's food from Healthy Morsels, to Light and Healthy,or Healthy Weight which is what it is called now. His left leg was a little sprained and we stopped running him in a tennis court by us. So he put on some weight by him not being as active. So we switched to Healthy Weight and he lost 9 pounds and his left leg or his joint was back to normal. We also stopped throwing a ball that bounced and he always jumped for it. Which is what put stress on his leg joint. We now throw a nylon bone that looks like a stick that he just runs to get and he is so happy.
